Lone Chimney Films is an organization dedicated to historical filmmaking. As historians and communicators, we are interested in conveying historical topics in an entertaining and enjoyable format. We are proud of our Midwestern heritage and are keenly interested in projects on Kansas, the Civil War and 19th-century life in general.

Our purpose is to enhance and educate Americans with regard to their historical past.  Using visual media and historical documentaries, Lone Chimney Films hopes to analyze the past with engaging and accurate information about America’s past.  Furthermore, Lone Chimney Films promises to always consult experts in the field of history and related historiography and similarly employ said people on our permanent board of directors.

Lone Chimney Films is organized exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
