Dear Friends,

We were grateful to receive the Western Heritage Award (Wrangler) for Best Documentary at the National Cowboy Museum this past weekend. It was an amazing event and weekend. We want to say thanks again to all of you for supporting the work that we have been doing. Whether it was actively participating in the process, or donating or attending a screening, you all contributed to the success of the Road to Valhalla.

We are actively moving forward now with our Home on the Range documentary. We are in pre-production and when 80% of the budget is raised we will begin filming. We have already received some donations and would love it if you would consider donating specifically to this film. It is a story worth telling and it is more than just a story of a great song.

We will be having a reception and update on Lone Chimney, the awards ceremony and Home on the Range this coming May 9 at 7 pm at the Prairie Rose Chuckwagon, Benton, KS. Please consider coming and inviting anyone who you think might be interested in the work were doing. This is a free event. Check out the attached flyer and photo.

Thanks and we hope to see you on May 9.

Ken Spurgeon
